We hired Bauer Construction to build our 42' x 42' heated and insulated pole barn in the fall of 2022, and we were so pleased with their work that we hired them to build our zero-entry, chalet-style retirement home in 2023. Cody Bauer is an outstanding general contractor. He knows all the local specialty contractors, as well as having connections outside the immediate area. He also knows how to coordinate all the work so there is very little down time. His construction crew is nothing short of amazing; they work hard every single day, and they take pride in their work. My husband commented more than once, "Their work is so good it's like they're doing the work on their own home." Cody and his crew were always responsive to questions and concerns, and they never acted like we were asking too much. We had special details we wanted in our home, and Cody made it happen - from bringing a flooring contractor up from Ohio to stain and seal our concrete floor - to buying knotty pine from the local Amish sawmill for our ceiling and finish trim. Cody and his crew also had some great suggestions along the way to pull everything together. My husband and I are happy to leave this 5-star review, and we whole-heartedly recommend Bauer Construction!
